Our home looks out over the iconic Playa Bahia Ballena (Whale Bay) valley. Located on the Southern Pacific coast in South Puntarenas, in the Osa Peninsula, Bahia Ballena stretches from Dominical all the way down to Ojochal. Famous for the whale tail peninsula, which beach and rainforest create during low tide, Bahia Ballena is one of the best places in Costa Rica to see whales and dolphins, coral reefs and tropical marine life, along with an abundance of wildlife in the nearby national parks.
